What is coaching?

Leadership and executive coaching is a personalised journey designed to support you to evolve as a leader and increase your effectiveness and impact. What to expect

Individual (1:1) Leadership Coaching

The value people take from coaching varies, however what I hear most from my clients is that our time together provides them with much-needed space to think and reflect, expand their self-awareness, understand the impact of their behaviours, explore alternative perspectives and ways of doing things and, importantly, gives them the courage to experiment with new behaviours. Our coaching conversations help enhance their leadership development and effectiveness, benefiting not only themselves but also those around them.

What to expect from 1:1 coaching

My coaching approach is highly tailored. After an initial chemistry session, we work with your aspirations and goals. I encourage my clients to show up simply as themselves, dropping facades, and allowing us to get to the crux of their leadership challenges more quickly and with greater honesty.

Change for my clients happens through cultivating a space for learning and insights, combined with practical experimentation – testing out new mindsets and behaviours in a safe environment. Often it’s the small, incremental adjustments that lead to the most significant improvements. It might be a shift in how they communicate, having the courage to speak up, or setting better boundaries. These changes ripple outward, positively impacting their teams and stakeholders, and creating a noticeable and lasting effect.

Team Coaching

Leadership is not a solitary pursuit. As we know, business results are highly dependent on the effectiveness of teams to deliver outcomes. Creating a high performing team doesn’t happen by chance – it requires collective effort and intention.

How can team coaching help?

Like the business challenges they face, coaching teams often reveals layers of complexity. It requires leaning in to sometimes competing needs and priorities, different styles and personalities, and varying expectations. Through the team coaching process, we embrace the diversity of the team whilst bringing them together around a common purpose to increase their trust, effectiveness, enjoyment, and results. Through team coaching, the team can get curious about what’s getting in their way and identify what they want to work towards.

Due to the complexity of coaching teams, sometimes I partner with another Certified Team Coach to have greater impact with the team. Together we see more, sense the nuances, mix up the energy, role model trust and leadership, and drive better results with the team.
